The Cossham Hall is a more intimate venue than the Armstrong Hall measuring 14.5m x 8.25m with a capacity of up to 200 including the upstairs balcony seating retained from its historic past as a Methodist meeting hall. It is suitable for activities such as dancing classes, aerobics and keep fit sessions, trade shows, and exhibitions and dances with a capacity of 90 persons, through to social club events, fund raisers, conferences, meetings, concerts, cinema shows, and theatrical productions on the small stage which may be accessed from the rear from the committee room with a seating capacity of 150 excluding the balcony area.

The complex is licensed for public music and dancing, has a licensed bar and catering facilities for meals and hot drinks.

The hire charges (correct at April 2017) for the Cossham Hall follow below, all bookings must be made on the official booking form obtainable from Thornbury Town Hall; call or email Sue Horsfall for up to date availability information.

Other services and charges may be applicable and the Booking Conditions must be strictly adhered to without exception.
